Find the Area! plsss i’ll mark brainlest

First find the area of the biggest shape in the diagram which is the rectangle:

Area Rec = Length x Breath

= 80 x 15

= 1200 square units.

Find the area of the triangle:

Area Tri = (1/2) x base x height

= (1/2) x 10 x 15

= 75 square units

Find area of the small rectangle at the left hand side of the big rectangle:

Area Rec = Length x Breath

= 25 x 25

= 625 square units

Since we found all the areas of everything we can add and subtract some areas to find the area we really want:

so to get area of this shape we have to:

Area Big Rectangle - Area of Triangle - Area of Small Rectangle = Shape

1200 - 625 - 75 = 500

Area of shape = 500 square units.

I don't know if the length of the big rectangle is 60 or 80 but you should know how to do it.
