A research study looks at how participants use the online charitable donations of friends to inform their own donation amount . Participants are in a low friend donation condition, a middle friend donation condition, or a high friend donation condition. Participants provide their own ratings when it comes to their own donations as well as assessments of the donations of online friends. In this study, is the independent variable and it has levels while is the dependent variable.
