from this point we now have y = 1/7x + b
all we now need is “b” (intercept) and to find that we’ll plug in one of our given points and solve for b.

3 = 1/7(6) + b
b = 2.14

with the slope and the intercept we have our answer :

y = 1/7x + 2.14
