1) How can polynomials be classified based on the number of terms and on the degree of the terms? 2) When a complex number is in the denominator, why is it necessary to multiply by the conjugate?

3) How do extraneous solutions arise from radical equations?

(I don't mind if only 3 is answered, or 2 is answered. Though if all 3 is answered that'd be greatly appreciated, these are the only questions I don't understand)
