Chairs need to be set up for the audience members. You want to use the fewest number of
chairs and still meet these three additional conditions:
• There are 22 rows of chairs.
• There is the same number of chairs in each row.
• There is an even number of chairs in each row.
Based on the number of students expected to attend, design a plan to set up the chairs.
State how many total chairs there are, and explain why your plan meets these conditions.
