What are checks and how are they used?

Checks are slips of paper that are used to transfer money from your banking acccount to anothers. You can ask for a checkbook at you local bank, and fill out the required information to be eligible.

You have to fill out your name, which person its going to, the memo (why you are filling out the check), and finally the amout the other person is going to recieve. Once you recieve a check you must go to the bank to either cash out the check (get the amount of cash that was writen on the check), or put the aout of money in your bank ccount.
