What kind of box should we design? You have been given the position of lead designer for a new product being produced by your
employer, Giromini Industries. For your design, you are given a 14x10 inch piece of cardboard,
and asked to cut it to design a box that will be used to ship an end-of-the-year present to all the
students of ROHS. In order to do this, you are cutting a square out of each corner, and folding
up the new flaps to create a box, as shown in the picture below (note that the figure is not drawn
to scale).
