wide by 8 feet long. You want the fence to be the same distance “x ft” from all sides of the pool, except you need to put a
lifeguard chair at one end of the width, so the fence should be twice as far away from the pool on that one side.
A) If the total area within the fence needs to be 442 ft2, how far away should the fence be from the pool on each side?
