Please help! I’ve been stuck on this question for a long time. What is the equation of the directrix for the following parabola:
-8(x-5) = (y+1)^2
The options are: y = -3; x = 7; y = 7; and x = -3
I keep getting -3 but the school program I’m using says both of those options are wrong.
