A group of teachers decided that they would each bring a similar jar of candies to their classrooms so their students could practice estimation. The students were told that whoever had the closest guess in the class
would win the candy, and so they all guessed how many candies were in their classroom's jar. The
distribution of individual guesses was strongly skewed to the right with a mean of 115 candies and a
standard deviation of 35 candies.
Suppose we took random samples of 6 students and calculated T as the sample mean of their guesses. We
can assume that the students in each sample are independent.
What will be the shape of the sampling distribution of ?
