Using the arm as a first class lever assume that the biceps are flexing the forearms against a resistance of 33kg. Note that the fulcrum(axis) is the elbow joint and the biceps are inserted 3.5 cm from the fulcrum. The measurement from the fulcrum to the center of the resistance is 31cm. What is the force needed to balance lever?
