Which equation has the same solutions as 2x^2 + x - 3 = 0?
(1) (2x - 1)(x + 3) = 0 (3) (2x - 3)(x + 1) = 0
(2) (2x + 1)(x - 3) = 0 (4) (2x + 3)(x - 1) = 0

(4) (2x +  3)(x -  1)  =  0 is the same as 2x ^ 2 + x - 3 = 0 
when you multiply 2x   and    x it will give you 2x ^ 2 then you multiply 2x and -1 it will give -2x then multiply +3 and x that will be +3x finally multiply +3 and -1 that will be -3 
  add -2x and +3x that +1x same as +x
so you will get 2x ^ 2 + x - 3 = 0
