A house's boundary can be described in terms of perimeter. Like - The house is located within the boundary that is 80 feet by 70 feet.

And area is used in terns of carpet area or built up area of the house. Like the house is built up in 4200 square feet area.

Perimeter can be used to tell each rooms dimensions. Like 10 feet by 10 feet is the kitchen or the master bedroom is 15 by 15 feet etc.

The prices of the houses are also based on the area they are built up in.
