           2x + 12y = 24
    2x - 2x + 12y = 24 - 2x
                   12y = 24 - 2x
                   12y = -2x + 24

                       y = ⁻¹/₆x + 2
                    f(x) = ⁻¹/₆x + 2
   The answer is C.

5. y = 4x - 8
   The answer is B.

6.        4x + 7y = 20
    4x - 4x + 7y = 20 - 4x
                   7y = 20 - 4x
                   7y = -4x + 20
                    7            7
                     y = ⁻⁴/₇ + 2⁶/₇
     The answer is C.
