Okay let's get started  Okay so remember that if two lines are parallel then the slopes must be exactly the same (ex: -4 and -4)  if two lines are perpendicular then the slopes are negative reciprocals (ex: -4 and 1/4) 

y = -3x + 7                             -2x + 6y = 3
                                               y = (x/3) + 1/2

So these two are perpendicular since the slopes negative reciprocals

y = (x/5) + 6                           -2x + 10y = 5
                                                y = (x/5) + 1/2

So these lines are parallel since the slopes are exactly equal
