Me hurry pls ! solve the following 4-(x-2)=2x-12+3x show the work i dont understand !

Perform indicated multiplication on left side..

4-x+2=2x-12+3x  combine like terms on both sides

-x+6=5x-12  subtract 5x from both sides

-6x+6=-12  subtract 6 from both sides

-6x=-18  divide both sides by -6

x=3
