What caused the great number of native american deaths?

Native American deaths were mainly caused by the introduction of new diseases and weapons brought mainly by Europeans.

The deaths were caused by the diseases that where brought over from far away places. I also heard that people from far way places brought weapons to kill the native Americans because the native people didn't want to move because they though they were native ( which they are lol) Hope this helps!
