Collaboration is working with a group who care about reaching a common goal. Your group consists of your teammates.

Usually in a collaborative environment people have more of a “together” type mentality as opposed to an independent way of thinking. When collaboration is involved employees think of their colleagues as teammates and not just as other employees.

Collaboration usually creates better morale as a company especially since every employee is trying to help each other as opposed to being in a more competitive environment.
