How to tell the difference between combinations and permutations in math?

So this is how I remember the difference. It's easy! Permutations is a fairly complicated word. Combinations is light on it's feet. Meaning that it's easy to recognize. Permutations is used for directory or lists. Combinations are for classification or groups.
