Find the value of each trigonometry ratio to the nearest ten-thousandth

Well, first of all, the ratios are not done right as you have to do it to the nearest ten-thousandth.  Even if they come out to an answer that has zeros at the end, you still need to include those up until the ten-thousands (four numbers).

#1 is wrong.  Tangent will always be the two legs.  It is opposite over adjacent.  Thus, the answer would be 20/21.

#2-#4 look all correct but make sure that you write it to the ten thousands (including zeroes).

Okay, so onto number 5 and 6.

On number 5, you are trying to find the hypotenuse.  The angle measure is what you must now use as your reference point.  Using Tangent would not be right for this.  Instead, you are given the adjacent and you need to figure out the hypotenuse so this would use cosine.

You can find the value by taking the cos(26)=17/hyp.  This would be x = 17/cos(26)

This is about 18.9142.

#6 would be just as easy.

You will be using tangent for this one and tangent is opp/adj so its x/18=tan(39).
