When you are dividing two decimals how can you check whether you have divided the decimals correctly

There is 2 ways you can check it.
1: This way can check if you put the decimal point in the right spot. If your answer has the same number of digits after the decimal point as the number you were dividing, then that is correct.
2: multiply your answer by what you were dividing by. If your doing it right, your answer will be the number you were dividing.
