Someone wants to give me examples of subtraction fractions with answers

5/5-4/5=1/5

To solve thins you would set it up numerator( top number/ number on the left) upwards and the denominator below you would subtract them across when they have the similar denominators.

If it is a question like this: 3/4- 1/2=?

You would turn 1/2 into 2/4 since they are equivalent/equal then you would have the problem 3/4-2/4 your answer would be 1/4 you only needed to put it into similar denominators
