Context of x y intercept and slope?

X-intercept is when the line crosses the x axis or when y=0
y-intercept is when the line crosses the y axis or when x=0

slope is: for every       units you go up, you go         units to the right (blanks can be negative or positive)

The x- and y-intercepts are where the line crosses the x- and y-axises, respectively.
The slope is the angle at which the line goes across the graph. It is found by making a fraction of two points on the line, with the second numbers in each set, the y-axis points, on the top, and the first numbers in each set, the x-axis points, the bottom. The formula is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = m, where m is the slope of the line.
