A general linear function can be written as:

In this case, we know that the line should intersect the y-axis (the vertical one) at y = 3 (in the point (0, 3))

And the slope is -3, then the equation of the line is:

y = -3*x + 3

To graph this line the general way is to find two points of the line.

So we need to evaluate the function in two different values of x.

In this case, we already know that the line passes through the point (0,3), then we only need to find another point.

To do it, we can just replace the x-value for a value we want, like x = 1

Then the y-value will be:

y = -3*(1) + 3 = -3 + 3 = 0

Then we also have the point (1, 0).

Now that we have two points, we can graph them and draw a line that connects the point, that line is the graph of our linear equation.
