Need help with a few Algebra problems because I can't really do this atm. Problem 1:
x^2 - 13x - 41 = 4
Step 1: x^2 - 13x - 36 = 0
Step 2: (x-9)(x+4) = 0
Step 3: x - 9 = 0 x + 4 = 0
Step 4: x = 9 x = 4

There is a mistake in there. How should it be fixed?

Problem 2:
x^3 - 16x = 0
Step 1: (x-4)(x+4)
Step 2: x-4 = 0 x+ 4 = 0
Step 3: x = 4 / x = -4

If one of these steps are incorrect, list it and tell me how to fix it.

Problem 3:
2x^2 - 7x 3 = 1
Step 1: 2x^2 - 7x - 4 = 0
Step 2: x^2 - 7x - 4 = 0
Step 3: (x-8)(x+1) = 0
Step 4: (x-)(x+) = 0
Step 5: (x-2)(4x+1) = 0
Step 6: x - 2 = 0 4x + 1 = 0
Step 7: x = 2 x = -

One of these steps is incorrect, Tell me how to fix it along which step it is.

Show work for all 3 problems.

If m∠abc = 70°, what is m∠abd? justify your reasoning.  using the addition property of equality, 40 + 70 = 110, so m∠abd = 110°.  using the subtraction property of equality, 70 − 30 = 40, so m∠abd = 30°.  using the angle addition postulate, 40 + m∠abd = 70. so, m∠abd = 30° using the subtraction property of equality.  using the angle addition postulate, 40 + 70 = m∠abd. so, m∠abd = 110° using the addition property of equality.
