A rectangle with length of 12 feet and width 4 feet. A diagonal cuts the rectangle into two halves. One of the triangular halves is shaded.
2(12 + 4) = 32
fraction 1 over 2(12 + 4) = 8
2(12 × 4) = 96
fraction 1 over 2(12 × 4) = 24
