I think you accidentally typed the expression p ⋅ (10 -  2) twice, so I'm going to assume you just meant to type it once. 

Anyway, you must use the distributive property multiplying p times 10 and times -2, separately and adding the results:

p ⋅ (10 - 2)

p(10) + p(-2)

10p - 2p
