The pH scale is logarithmic and tells you how acidic (or basic) a substance is. If pH = -log(H+) where H* represents the concentration of Hydrogen ions, what is the concentration of Hydrogen ions in
soda which has a pH = 3 (moderately acidic)?
In other words, what is the value of H* when pH = 3? Write the logarithm as an exponential and
then evaluate.
