Kelly and Roberto each make a plan for a community garden. They use identical
square plots for the gardens, but design different gravel borders, as shown below.

After some discussion Kelly and Roberto decide to scrap their original designs and
make just one garden instead. They plan to place the twoxftbyxftsquare plots side
by side and then make a rectangular gravel border around the resulting it by 25t
plot. The area of the new garden and border will equal the sum of the areas of the two
original gardens and borders.
Task Description
Write expressions for the length and width of the plot consisting of the new garden
and its gravel border. Each expression must be a linear polynomial with integer
coefficients. Use your expressions to draw a sketch of the new garden and border.
