This is a bonus question. Solve the systems of equations. The Fealdner triplets are very hairy and must shave daily. Since they use a lot of razors
the three siblings each go out in search of the cheapest, and best way to get razors.
Gorfindel finds that if he goes to Walmart he can buy razors for $1.50 each. He decides
to try this out. (Think of this being a line with 1.50 slope)
Beorn instead finds an advertisement online and thinks that looking into the Beastly
Shave Club will work. He pays a membership fee of $2 a month and then gets 2 razors a
month, if he needs more-they charge $2 per extra razor. (Think of an equation where the slope is
2/2 and they intercept is 2)
Luthien, being the only female triplet, is able to go through the Gillete company and only
has to pay $6 per month for an unlimited supply. (Think of this being a horizontal line at $6)
How many razors will they use if they all paid the same amount of money last month?
Try graphing all three lines and then you are looking for where they all intersect. The x
point is razors and the y point is dollars.
