WITH ANSWER! I believe The shorter sides of an acute triangle are x cm and 2x cm. The longest side of the triangle is 15 cm. What is the smallest possible whole-number value of x?

I think you would have to do
Set up the equation.
The formula for an acute triangle is c^2 C=the longest side.
Plug it in
15^2<1x+2x^2
15^2<3x^2
15*15=225
225<3x^2
Divide by the coefficient..
225/3<3/3x^2
75 Eliminate the exponent..
