It can' be B because as you go right on the x-axis (forward in time), the distance upward on y (how far walked) also goes up steadily. So that is a person walking at a steady pace, no stopping.

A is interesting.  It shows the person walked in the positive y-direction, stopped a while, and then went back the other way (negative y-direction).

C shows a person walking (in the positive y-direction), then stopping, then walking in the same direction some more. The probelm says they walk slower after the pause, so the slope on the second part should be less steep. I guess it is, but would it have killed them to make it a little more obvious? haha.
