Now let’s look at some graph transformations. If you haven’t already, graph the equation y=1xon Desmos. This is the parent graph of a rational function, so all of the graphs that we look at today will have the same basic shape as this one. Keep our work with parabolas and cubic functions in mind as you work through this activity. For each equation below:
-Graph the equation in Desmos
-Describe the change in the graph from the parent function y=1x
-Name the coordinates of the locator point, in this case the intersection of asymptotes.
