Ms. Salinas, a staff supervisor, has decided to treat all of her staff
to hot chocolate from Cory’s Café. Some employees order large
hot chocolates and others order small hot chocolates. When
Ms. Salinas gets to the café, however, she cannot find the paper
on which she wrote the order.
Ms. Salinas does remember a few facts. She knows from experience that a large hot chocolate costs $3 and a small hot chocolate costs $2. She remembers that she was supposed to order 15 drinks. She also knows the total cost for the drinks was going to be $42. Can you help Ms. Salinas figure out how many large hot chocolates and how many small hot chocolates she is supposed to order
