A 100ml solution contains 99% alcohol and 1% water. The formula C(x) = \frac{99-x}{100-x} describes the relationship after x ml of alcohol are removed.
The formula C^{-1}(y)=\frac{99-100y}{1-y} describes the inverse. What is the physical significance of C^{-1}(y)?**

**So, I’ve done all the work already except that last bit because I’ve never really understood what the inverses actually mean—I just know how to get there, more or less. Could someone explain the physical significance of the second formula and why? Thank you!
