In the second generation individual 3, an unshaded square, mates with individual 4, an unshaded circle. They produce two offspring, individuals 10 and 12, both of which are unshaded circles. In the third generation, individual 12 mates with individual 11, an unshaded square, and produce individual 16, a shaded square, for the fourth generation. Back in the second generation, individual 7, an unshaded square, mates with individual 6, an unshaded circle. They produce two offspring for the third generation, individuals 13 and 14, an unshaded square and an unshaded circle respectively. Back in the second generation, individual 8, an unshaded circle, mates with individual 9, an unshaded square. They produce individual 15, a shaded square, for the third generation. Individuals 14 and 15 show a double line mating and produce individual 17, a shaded circle, for the fourth generation. Use the pedigree to determine the mode of inheritance of the disorder.
