CALCULUS: Determine if the Mean Value Theorem for Integrals applies to the function f(x) = \sqrt{x} on the interval [0, 4]. If so, find the x-coordinates of the point(s) guaranteed to exist by the theorem. A. Yes, x = 16/9
B. Yes, x = 1/4
C. Yes, x = 1/16
I picked an answer and got it wrong (No, the theorem does not apply.), so that is why there is only 3 answers. I really want to understand this, so please explain. Thanks much & have a wonderful day.
