I do not think that elements not having a name or atomic number would make chemistry easier to understand i believe it would make it harder. Some problems i think this would cause is getting different elements mixed up because many elements have some of the same properties. An advantage this could have is that people would really need to understand each element rather thank just the atomic number to identify the element.
