What is the slope of the line??? Please help me on this..

Now, if we want to start at at the coordinate (-2,4), and get to (0,3), how many units do you think that we will go up or down by and how many units do you think will go to the left or right side by?
Well, if we start at the point (-2,4) and we need to get to the point (0,3) then we will go down 1 unit which will be our Rise and we will go across to the right by 2 units.
