    csc2/sec2=cot2

  (1/sin2)/(1/cos2)=cot2

  (1/sin2)(cos2/1)=cot2

  cos2/sin2=cot2

  (1/tan2)=cot2

  (cot2)=(cot2)

x= 7 and x= -1

step 2 is wrong and honestly first step is not needed, you just need to figure out the factors

i know its wrong because if you plug in the solutions josh found, they do not work (in the original equation)

x^2 -6x -7 = 0

(x-7) (x+1) = 0

x-7=0 x+1=0

x= 7 x= -1
