Math on the Spot An elevator is rising at a constant rate of 10 feet per second. Its height in feet after t seconds is given by h = 10t. At the instant the elevator is at
ground level, a ball is thrown upward with an initial velocity of 60 feet per second from
ground level. The height in feet of the ball after t seconds is given by h= - 16t² + 60t.
