Your Project Estimate Baskets Estimate the number of baskets you would make out of 12 shots from
the free-throw line. Then estimate the number you would make out of
12 shots from the 3-point line. Attempt 12 of each type of shot. Keep
track of the shots you make, and calculate your percent success rate.
How far off were your estimates? Based on each set, estimate the
number of baskets you would make out of your next 12 attempts.
Repeat the process for three or four more rounds, comparing your
success rates by round and by distance.
Make a poster displaying the data from your experiments, including
the percent error of your estimates and success rate. Summarize your
findings.
