There is also x^2y and 2x^2y which adds up to 3x^2y. Think of these xy things as labels, just add the numbers at the front, only add ones with the same labels.

3xy and -xy add up to 2xy.

This leaved you with -1x^3y^3 + 3x^2y + 2xy

(-1x-cubed y-cubed + 3x-squared y + 2xy)
