and an average of 200 people moving away every month. In about how many months will the
populations of the towns be equal? Write an equation to model the situation. Then solve the equation
and answer the question,
Which equation models the situation?
A. 125m + 75m + 50,250 = 48,000 + 200m
.B. 125m - 75m + 48,000 = 50,250 - 200m
OC. 125m + 75m + 48,000 = 50,250 + 200m
OD. 125m - 75m + 50,250 = 48,000 - 200m
In about months, the populations of the two towns will be equal.
