John threw a ball into the air. The height in feet of the ball thrown upward with an initial velocity of 96 feet per second is given by h = 96t – 16t^2 where t is the time in seconds. a) How many seconds will it take the ball to be 80 feet above the ground?

b) How long will the ball be in the air?

c) When will the ball reach its maximum height? What is its maximum height?
