On A4 paper; construct two equilateral triangles ΔABC and ΔPQR of side 5 cm and 3 cm respectively.

 Divide each side of ΔABC in 5 equal parts and ΔPQR in 3 equal parts.

 Now join the corresponding points so that the lines formed are parallel to the

respective sides of the triangle.

 Count the number of smaller triangles of same size formed in ΔABC and ΔPQR

 Using the above observations verify the result showing the mathematical

calculation
