5.24 would be the answer. I used 3.14 for pi and the formula to find the area of the circle is A=pi r^2. The radius is 4, when squared it’s 16. Multiply that by pi and you get 50.24. Then multiply 5 by 9 to get 45. Subtract the two answers (50.24-45) and it equals 5.24.

If there are four friends then each would get, 1.25 or 1 1/4. so this is how i solved 5 ÷ 4 = 1.25 . hope this ; )
