You know that car you’ve been wanting Here’s your chance to get it! Fortunately for you, summer is fast approaching and now is your opportunity to work and raise money. Your parents have agreed to help you purchase a used car between $9,000 - $12,000; however, they have asked for your help. You will need to contribute 35% of the price of the car and they will pay for the rest.

You have just been hired at a local business which is open 7 days a week for the 12 weeks of summer. You need to determine the number of hours on average you would need to work during the week and on the weekend in order to reach your contribution goal. The table below shows the pay rates for your new job
