Jenny is a realtor. She has been asked to list a house that is worth $350,000. The owners want to give her a three-month contract. If the house is not sold within three months, she will lose the listing and receive nothing. If she lists the home, she will have to advertise the home and host open houses for other realtors, which cost her $2000. If she sells the home herself, her commission is 6% of the sales price; if another realtor sells the home, hse will receive only 3%. The house is unusual and Jenny thinks the probability of selling the house herself is 0.30, the probability of another agent selling the house is 0.30, and the probability that the house will not set is 0.40. Should she take the listing?
