Suppose you want to put a gable roof on a section of a house that is 62 feet long. The overhang on each side will be 1 foot, so the roof will need to span a total of 64 feet. The roof ridge where two identical rafters will meet will be in the exact middle of the house. So, each rafter will have a horizontal length of 32 feet. If the ridge is 20 feet above the top of the frame of the house, what will be the pitch of the roof? Make sure to give the pitch/slope as a fraction in simplest form.
